INTRODUCTION TO APOLOGETICS

7-12TH GRADES

Our missional mandate as followers of Christ is to always be prepared to give an answer (1 Peter 3:15). Given our current cultural conditions it’s now more important than ever that we are raising young leaders who are well-trained in what they believe, why they believe it, and have the confidence to share it with love and respect.

This class is designed to help your students share their faith with confidence, conviction, and compassion. We explore what makes up a worldview, how we can know truth, all of the major evidences for the existence of God, the resurrection of Jesus, and the reliability of the Bible. But we don’t stop there. We also thoroughly train students to actively engage others through building relationships and trust with others opening doors for the gospel.

INTRODUCTION TO WORLDVIEWS

3-6TH GRADES

Our children have incredible untapped evangelistic power. They are the best means of reaching their own generation. But doing so requires some understanding of the world they live in and the different worldviews of their neighbors and friends. The world our children live in everyday is more diverse than ever. But it’s also more hostile to Christianity than ever. It’s never to early to begin learning about worldviews.

This class will introduce your student to the basics of worldviews, what others believe and why, how we can know truth, and why all of this is so important. Your student will not only gain valuable knowledge, but more confidence about what they believe and the courage to live it out in their community.

“The purpose of a Christian education would not be merely to make men and women pious Christians: a system which aimed too rigidly at this end alone would become only obscurantist. A Christian education must primarily teach people to be able to think in Christian categories.”
